Captured on 35mm film during ModaLisboa 2011, Runway documents a fleeting moment backstage before a Filipe Faísca show.
At the time, I was often more interested in the details surrounding an event than in the event itself. While the audience was waiting for the show to begin, my attention drifted towards the models gathered backstage. The repetition of legs, heels and colour created something that felt unexpectedly choreographed - closer to a ballet waiting in the wings than to a fashion show.
Limited edition of 15.
